A little chance. A lot of possibility.
Cookie Policy
Virtual Dice Roller does not set any cookies. This page explains the one setting we store on your device, how cookie categories apply to this site and how to change your choice.
Effective date:
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps information on your device. This policy covers both.
What we store on your device
We store a single item, and only after you make a choice in the cookie banner. No cookies are set by this website or by any third party through it.
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| vdr-consent | Local storage | Essential | Remembers your cookie choices so the banner does not reappear | 12 months, or until you clear site data |
Cookie categories
Essential
Needed for the site to work as you expect. The only essential item is the vdr-consent setting above. It cannot be switched off, because it records your choice.
Functional
Would remember preferences such as sound or dice style between visits. No functional cookies are used at the moment; your settings reset when you reload a page.
Analytics
Would measure how visitors use the site. No analytics service is used at the moment.
Advertising
Would be used to show or measure adverts. This website has no advertising and sets no advertising cookies.
How consent works
On your first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Manage preferences. Rejecting has the same effect on the site as accepting today, because no optional services are in use.
If we ever add a functional or analytics service, this page will list it first, and it will load only for visitors who have allowed that category.
Change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page, or with the button below.
Using your browser
You can also remove the stored choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. In most browsers this is under Privacy or Site settings. The banner will then appear again on your next visit.
